I have first known to this kid from an art show taken place in China Town, Hawaii a few years back. Being a show of local artist the original artworks of Aaron Martin aka "The Angry Woebot" stood out like a sore thumb. After walking around the studio looking at the works of other artist I ended back to absorb the details of Aaron's drawings, wire figures and what ever he had at that moment. He has this unique style and originality that was not like anything other artist of this street culture in Hawaii. I've got to know Aaron as a friend and am constantly inspired by the diversity of him using different types of mediums of glass bottles, wires, skateboards, denim skirts, sewing dolls and costumes. He¹s capable of making whatever he can get his hands on if it¹s blueprints from the dumpster to condom dispensers ripped out from the men¹s restroom. His hard work has involved him in shows from Canada to Asia in hopes that it will bless him with travels and a manufactured toy in the near future. Aaron is a humble soul reflecting his illustrated pandas who is constantly sketching and thinking where people will admire him as a person and for the passion he has in his art.

On September 13, 2003 Kicks/Hawaii Leilow and In4mation opened its doors and helped Aaron with his first solo show "It all starts now" held in the retail shoe store Kicks in Honolulu, Hawaii. In presence to the show was Aaron¹s family, close friends, corporate clothing designers, and people that have the love for this culture. In the mix was DJ's Jules and DelveOnder spinning soothing tunes to go with the kind words of people complimenting the work of Aaron. Soon after the show was the after party held at Indigo in China Town along with Sisters n Sound. The night continued with the music of DJ's XL, Jules, Compose of The Nocturnal Sound Krew, DelveOneder sharing the ones and two's in one room while the ladies of Sisters N Sound did their thing in the other. The night was packed with people of all walks of life and the company of good music, good friends, and good times. Angry Woebot......Make Hawaii Proud.
